Trade and Human Rights[edit]

Isn't this section a bit weasel-wordy (or whatever it is you guys call it)? Not that I disagree, but saying TRIPS has "arguably" caused lower access to patented medicines is not really an argument at all. 139.80.123.38 (talk) 02:32, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

lex maritima[edit]

Although lex maritima is equated with lex mercatoria in the article I can hardly accept the translation of lex maritima as the "law of merchants on the sea". Might it not be simply translated as maritime law? There is a strong case to be made for the existence of a modern lex maritima as an independent set of principles and customs although it is as yet uncodified. Everybody got to be somewhere!
