Comments[edit]

A galaxy as a giant vacuum cleaner is a terrible analogy - who put that crap in? Also, references are made to the different "phases" of galactic colissions without anywhere defining what these phases are. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.184.23.58 (talk) 21:48, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pea galaxy[edit]

I have added a link in the "See also" section to the "Pea galaxy" article as I'm sure that it is relevant to this subject. Richard Nowell (talk) 11:25, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very important omission.[edit]

It is now commonly accepted that NGC 5128 is a merger between two galaxies, a spiral and an elliptical. This galaxy is far brighter, larger, and frankly more interesting to observe than all of the other examples provided. Old_Wombat (talk) 08:57, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
