Change of country and other updates[edit]

Multiple sources, including an organization chart in the 2018 Financial Times article What will Ikea build next? and the page Our Business in brief on the Inter IKEA Group website, indicate that Inter IKEA Holding / Inter Ikea Group is currently located in the Netherlands. According to the press releases New structure of Inter IKEA Group by Vastint Holding and Inter IKEA Group acquires IKEA range, supply and production activities from the INGKA Group by Inter IKEA Systems, this has been the case since 2016.

I have therefore moved the information on the previous domicile in Luxembourg to the History section. I have also moved the History section to a place before the Subsidiaries section, to conform better with the general convention for company articles. The country WikiProject template link on this talk page has also been updated.

The statements about the company being controlled by Ingvar Kamprad have likewise been moved to the History section, as Kamprad is deceased and reportedly stepped down from controlling the group already before his death. A brief statement was inserted about historical development and facts on formal control mentioned by current independent sources.

Also, there have been some fixes of broken source links and other minor edits. A reference to the DOI.ORG entity 10.1093/gao/9781884446054.article.t046131 was removed, as it appears to be about art history and archaeology, not Ikea. OttoG (talk) 17:41, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
