Is her name really Ingeborg?[edit]

I have no prior knowledge of the person this article is about, but I made a redirect page from Ingeborg Keller to Inge Keller, because in the article it says that's her birth name. However, I checked out the more expansive German language Wikipedia article about her, and it doesn't mention anything about her name being Ingeborg. I couldn't really find anything about it on Google either. I'm assuming this article is erroneous, so I will remove this from the article for now. Any thoughts from someone familiar with the person about this is appreciated. Kadmium (talk) 10:44, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

She was "generally known" as Inge, it is true. It seems likely that she was christened Ingeborg simply because that's the way the name generally works. Here's a source (which I find relatively reliable) for naming her Ingeborg [1]. But you'd have to go to a birth registration to be sure which probably counts as original research and there are folks who don't like you to do that for Wikipedia. But with respect (and I don't think it's desperately important) it looks to me as though she was christened Ingeborg.
