Deletion of names of recipients[edit]

The IOM was the highest decoration that a native member of the British Indian Army could receive, therefore it was higher than the George Cross to a British Soldier and you will see in List of George Cross recipients that many of the people listed do not have their own pages. The same applies to the George Medal, a second level award, see List of recipients of the George Medal. If you do not want a list on this page, fine, create a new page being a list. I would have thought that a recipient of the IOM had done enough to be notable, especially if they had a second or first. Can we please have these names reinstated. No dissension, so names of recipients with citations added back into article. - Ânes-pur-sàng (talk) 11:45, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The link to Havildar Nur Khan lead to a PAF officer. Can the OP pl correct it? Interestingly, The PAF officer's father, Subedar-Major and honorary army captain Malik Mihr Khan is an IOM winner.
