I will start to review this tomorrow, though it will not be a quick fail like "I Still See Your Face" for sure. --K. Peake 21:22, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your interest in reviewing. Just want to note that, even though I nominated the article, all credit goes to EditorE, he developed the article. I believe this meets the GA criteria, so I nominated it. Of course, if there are any problems, I will fix them. GhostP. talk 23:00, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
GhostP. Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Instructions says, "Articles may be nominated by anyone, though it is highly preferable that they have contributed significantly to the article and are familiar with the subject." but that is not a guarantee and you are not that experienced with under 500 edits, so I will still review this GAN. Bare what I said in mind for the future though, as you will be expected to significantly contribute to GANs once you've got more experience. --K. Peake 07:51, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead[edit]

  • Change genre to Electropop since that is sourced in the body, unlike synthwave
  • Wikilink Com Truise under producer(s)
  • The stylization should be sourced somewhere in the body; a mention in the opening section would be ideal
    • The source is the album's own cover, I don't think any secondary source noted that the album is styled as "in decay." The album is officially known as "In Decay" on Spotify & other streaming services anyway, without using the stylized form, so I  removed this sentence. GhostP. talk 11:31, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Remove wikilink on electronic musician and target electronic to Electronic music
  • Wikilink independent record label

  • "upon release was mixed overall;" → "upon release was mixed;"
  • "while a frequent criticism was its repetition and" → "while frequent criticisms were its repetition, and" since you have listed out more than one critcism
  • The second paragraph is only one sentence, so move that to the end of the opening para
  • "A second such compilation album," → "A follow-up compilation album,"
  • Remove wikilink on In Decay, Too

Background and release[edit]

  • "of his demos and tracks" the "demos" part is not sourced
  • "With "Open" released as the lead single of" → "After "Open" was released as the lead single from"

Content[edit]

  • "In fact, some reviewers have described the songs on the LP" → "Some reviewers have described the songs on the album"
  • Target lo-fi to Lo-fi music
  • [7] should solely be after the second comma
  • "of the past records." → "of the project's past records."
  • "Ghostly's press release explains" → "Ghostly's press release explained" with the wikilink
  • "is a document of Haley exploring parts" → "features Haley exploring parts"
  • Target 8-bit to Chiptune
  • Target slow-tempo to Tempo
  • Target dance to Dance music
  • Target psychedelic to Psychedelic music
  • "from what normally comes from the Com Truise project;" → "from the normal output of the Com Truise project;" to be less wordy
  • Wikilink bass guitar
  • "snares" "give him" → "snares" manage to "give him" with the target
    • All errors noted above were  fixed. GhostP. talk 11:31, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • "proper sophomore album"." → "proper sophomore album."" for consistency
  • "Com Truise's past distributed records." → "Com Truise's past releases."

References[edit]

  • Copyvio score looks alright at 37.1%; ignore the flagged URL since Bing is not cited anywhere in this article
  • Make sure all of these are archived by using the tool
  • Ref 1 should cite middle name directly after the first, plus fix MOS:QWQ issues and remove the publisher
  • Fix MOS:QWQ issues with ref 2 and remove the publisher
  • WP:OVERLINK of Stereogum on ref 3 and remove the publisher
  • Remove the second publisher from refs 4 and 5
  • PrefixPrefix Mag on ref 9, but is this review really a reliable source since the magazine allows anyone to write for them?
    • Yeah, it doesn't look like a reliable source. Removed. GhostP. talk 11:31, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Cite Tiny Mix Tapes as work/website instead for ref 10
  • Cite CMJ as publisher instead for ref 11

Final comments and verdict[edit]

  •  On hold until all of the issues are fixed; good luck with fixing them, even if you are not as knowledgeable as the editor that expanded this article! --K. Peake 09:47, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for reviewing! All errors pointed by you were fixed. GhostP. talk 11:31, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
GhostP. Looks good, apart from you having not changed the genre in the infobox, removed the italicisation on AllMusic in the body and removed the second wikilink on Stereogum. --K. Peake 12:59, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, forgot to fix those. Done. GhostP. talk 14:17, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
GhostP. Just fixed two issues with ref 1 that I forgot to point out as still not being fixed, after my previous suggestions.  Pass now, kudos for getting through this quickly! --K. Peake 14:22, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
