Fair use rationale for Image:Imprint frontpage.jpg[edit]

Image:Imprint frontpage.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Clean up[edit]

This article is a mess. I am going to slowly start removing unsourced/OR material in an effort to make it more encyclopedic. --173.33.43.206 (talk) 16:44, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. There's tons of useless, unsourced, and meaningless trivial bits on this page 65.90.33.15 (talk) 16:50, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have been bold. More should be done. --173.33.43.206 (talk) 17:01, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

I'm not sure, do we really need such a large history section for a small school newsletter? --24.114.252.231 (talk) 04:10, 31 May 2010 (UTC) There seems to have been a recent campaign to re-expand the history section, making this discussion again important. 131.193.224.10 (talk) 19:04, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

mergefrom[edit]

Someone placed a {{mergeto}} tag on The Chevron. But they failed to comply with the instructions, and explain their tag here. So I am removing that tag. Geo Swan (talk) 15:58, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

The only sources listed are Imprint itself and what appears to be another UW student newspaper. Could we get some additional sources per W:GNG please? 24.246.29.51 (talk) 14:45, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
