Title of the article[edit]

I feel that the title of this article is too abstract, since "heavy" and "chain" are both commonly used in everyday language. Also, "heavy chain" in reference to immunoglobulin/antibody sections is not commonly used, in context of how often it is searched in proportion to its desired query. Furthermore, the light chain article is named using biology-relavent terms, and thus is more appropriate for this article's title (I therefore suggest renaming the article "Immunoglobulin Heavy Chain").

Other similar article[edit]

There is another article named "Heavy-chain_antibody" that discusses the same subject. Perhaps these two pages should be merged? - 1 March 2016 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2406:E007:8875:1:2D92:7FEE:9F34:E051 (talk) 09:37, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Heavy-chain antibody with Immunoglobulin heavy chain[edit]

They sure look the same Akrasia25 (talk) 23:01, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. A heavy-chain antibody is an antibody consisting of two heavy chains and nothing else. A heavy chain is a component of various types of antibodies (including but not limited to heavy-chain ABs), but AFAIK is not used alone. --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 07:21, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
