Sidney Toler's name in bold[edit]

I think it is unnecessary to have Sidney's Toler's name in bold where it appears for the second time. The first time his name is in the Cast list, the second time in the Notes about the cast. The reason for my ojection is that it the bold makes it stand out as important in some way, but the only importance is to be that it occurs for the second time. One would expect members of the Cast list to appear in the Notes anyway, therefor not necessary to highlight it. Arising from this, I suggest that the two sections could be incorporated together so the notes, which are not lengthy, follow on within the Cast list. My undoing of the bold was not blind, because I saw Sidney Toler's name was there before, and it was a considered revision. I hope good reason, and if not, common practice will prevail. My only reason for looking at this page is that my sister is Henry Wilcoxon's niece (she saw him the the USA before he died) and I was looking at the films he'd been in, and I put in some screenshots of him. I have every respect for the principal editor of this page, who has done a good job on this one and maybe a few others - know it's painstaking work.P0mbal (talk) 00:19, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for the bold on Toler's name is because he is the subject of the item in the cast notes section, and the bold makes that more obvious to the reader. It's a common device, used almost universally, to bold the name of the subject in a short squib such as that.

My concern, as always, is for the quality of the presentation to the reader, whom we are here to serve.

Thanks for your kind remarks, I appreciate them. Ed Fitzgerald t / c 03:24, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
