Barbarigo's birth date[edit]

There seems to be different information about Barbarigo's year of birth – just some Google hits:

1920: non-profit association "Barbarigo Cadorin Music Archive", a page about art exhibitions, the same publishing house specialising in contemporary art as below, a gallery, another gallery
1925: the page currently given as source in the article, a gallery (in German), an Italian museum, the same publishing house specialising in contemporary art as above

Hi Cyfal Thanks for adding the direct link to the gravestone. I couldn't find it last night. When I created the article in 2023 the Tate had no article, and you are correct, they now use the Wikipedia article. But then they did have a birth date of 1925. I no longer have a print copy of the catalogue for Action, Gesture, Paint: Women Artists and Global Abstraction 1940-1970" to check.

Wikidata uses 1925 https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3147757. Perhaps you would like to add information about the conflicting birth dates to the article. That might be better than you and I trying to decide which is correct? Best, --WomenArtistUpdates (talk) 16:06, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WomenArtistUpdates, I've added some information about the conflicting birth dates now. Doing so, I've listed the catalog for Action, Gesture, Paint: Women Artists and Global Abstraction 1940-1970 as source for 1925 because as far as I understand you, you've taken the 1925 from there when you created the article? (I haven't the catalog at hand, too.) Thank you for your suggestion and I apologize for making no less than four changes to the article on 29 March where, with a little more care of mine, one would have sufficed.
