The result of the move request was: No one wanted to plump for a name, so I've been bold and gone for "ITUC-Asia Pacific" (as it heads the two documents linked), I expect someone will moan about the hyphen...  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:59, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ITUC Regional Organisation for Asia and PacificRegional Organisation of the International Trade Union Confederation for Asia and the Pacific — Relisting  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:26, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not 100% sure about this name change, so I invite you to provide your opinion on this. Both the homepage and the constitution of this organisation give three names:

  • “Regional Organisation of the International Trade Union Confederation for Asia and the Pacific”, or
  • “ITUC-Asia Pacific”
  • “ITUC-AP”

with the first one being quite clunky and the others being abbreviations. Another alternative might be Regional Organisation of ITUC for Asia and the Pacific. The current name is however an own creation, which might be Original Research and in any case is only acceptable if there was no official English name. How do you think on this?
