Change?[edit]

Are there plans to change the code (to NM?) as the country is now named North Macedonia?----Bancki (talk) 11:21, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think it was decided to just leave the codes unchanged. The ISO 3166 codes for North Macedonia have remained MK (alpha-2), MKD (alpha-3) and 807 (numeric). When Western Samoa became just Samoa, the WS code was left unchanged probably because all the appropriate codes starting with S were already taken. August-54 (talk) 12:21, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
