HMG-CoA synthase and Hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA synthase are the same protein, so the articles should be merged together. -Iamozy (talk) 17:26, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've proposed that 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coa synthase 1 be merged into this article as I believe they are the same protein.Mccapra (talk) 18:40, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
