Untitled[edit]

This page was nominated for AFD along with a large number of others [1], and the closing administrator (Shanel) chose to convert all the pages listed in the article into redirects to seasons of Survivor (TV series). In the case of Ellis, I feel that this was done improperly, as 4 of the 11 users commenting in the nomination (including the nominator) felt that Ellis's article should be kept and cleaned up, once examples of his non-Survivor notability were called to their attention. WP:DRV states that in the case of short stubs deleted for lack of content, the best course of action is to be bold and create a new article on the subject. Accordingly, I have done so here. As a courtesy, please contact me before re-deleting it, particularly as a speedy of previously deleted content. -Colin Kimbrell 05:06, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the afd, it was clearly not deleted for lack of content. I've re-deleted. —Cryptic (talk) 13:13, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Most people's objection on the AFD was that it dealt with him and his non-notable activites as a "Survivor" candidate, rather than the non-Survivor things that clearly marked him as notable. As such, the "delete" opinions advocated deletion due to lack of content on the areas in which he was genuinely notable, which fits the criterion pretty well. If you'd rather drag everybody through a deletion review, though, so be it. -Colin Kimbrell 16:52, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask what the point is of including his ranking as one of the worst Survivor players? How is it that a list on Top-Tens.com is authoritative on anything? On top of that, some random dude's opinion from that site on how he played is completely irrelevant and should not be quoted here (even though it's true, he sucked as a player). I tried to delete those couple of lines but my edit was deemed "not constructive". KhyronKaida (talk) 03:35, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
