Homosexuality[edit]

Um. Where in Watchmen is it specifically stated that Hooded Justice is in a relationship with Captain Metropolis, and that he 'would also have rough sex sessions with young men'? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.249.79.230 (talkcontribs) 01:21, 22 May 2006

See Watchmen, issue #9. After the graphic pages (after page 28), you will find a number of pages with excerpts from Sally Jupiter's scrapbook. One of these is a letter from Larry to Sally, where he expresses concern that HJ and Nelson's relationship might be discovered. Breakaway 01:43, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Hoodedjustice.jpg[edit]

Image:Hoodedjustice.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hooded Justice and the Third Reich[edit]

I took away the bit about HJ being against the Third Reich as being in support of an anti-communist position because the Communists hated the Nazis and were, in fact, at war with them in 1941. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.227.34.84 (talkcontribs) 14:16, 15 March 2008

Film: Zach Snyder and Hooded Justice[edit]

I have moved the following passage from the article to here for discussion:

It is unknown if Hooded Justice will appear in the Zack Snyder 2009 Watchmen adaptation as a speaking character or simply in pictures in a flashback. In a recently released picture from Zack Snyder that re-creates the photo taken during a meeting of the Minutemen (featuring all of the original members in costume), Hooded Justice is featured.

It appears that this is speculation about Zach Snyder's role in the upcoming film. It's my impression that Wikipedia articles are not a place for speculation. Is there a way to word this section so that it is not speculative, and could potentially be backed up by citations? --Zippy (talk) 23:18, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure. I copied it word for word from the Captain Metropolis entry. Thought if it was there it would be okay here. I don't think I really care either way. Somedays I get caught up with adding things and other days I don't!--Cmock127 (talk) 8:56, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Cmock127 (talk) 12:57, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How about something like: "Hooded Justice is one of the characters featured in a promotional photo for the movie. The photo shows a meeting of the 1940 Minutemen."[1]
