It's an interesting thing to find in an encyclopedia - does the modern-day Catholic Encyclopedia still have an entry on this? I'm surprised Christian iconography is a redlink, though we do have Category:Christian iconography, and Iconography#Christian iconography. This article (the hairstyles ones) is not just art history though - it includes references to regulations and documentary (written) evidence as well. Hairstyles in history (and clothing as well) is definitely an encyclopedic topic, and important in art history. Carcharoth (talk) 12:07, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
