Merge discussion[edit]

"Hindu saint" is just an erroneous expression for "sant" (see the article text on "Hindu saints" as of 29 Oct 12 for details and references). So the useful content of "Hindu saint" should be merged ino "Sant". Pol098 (talk) 01:23, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Many people are confused by the false cognate "saint" being the same as "sant." They hold very different meanings, which is now explained and well referenced in the article. First Light (talk) 21:06, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
