NPOV[edit]

I just wanted to explain the rationale behind adding the NPOV tag to this article. I'm not alleging any active bias by editors, merely that the article is currently has quite an obvious and significant anti-Sky bias. Although Sky was the founder of HD broadcasting in the UK, is currently the largest channel broadcaster and currently broadcasts the largest HD platform in the UK, they are relegated to a few brief mentions in the article.

I've also deleted much of the background of Freesat. We don't need to discuss the ownership of Freesat in such depth in this article, just as we don't need to discuss the ownership structure of Sky. The appropriate place for that is in the Freesat article itself.Jcbsmith83 (talk) 17:49, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date[edit]

This article, written in the present tense, is out of date, but I don't want to change it without a citation. Can anyone else provide one? jezmck (talk) 20:37, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
