Is Siegfried Fischbacher and Ray Horn a synonym for the Heterozygous Tiger? - 216.10.193.22 (talk) 21:48, 8 July 2008 (UTC)arindam[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The Heterozygous tiger is not a seperate species of tiger. It is just a normal tiger, and not deserving of its own page. I believe everything should be merged into White tiger as that is what the article relates too. -- Flutefluteflute Talk Contributions 18:15, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that everything that needs to be said about heterozygous tigers is already in the white tiger article and it was ridiculous to have a separate article for "heterozygous tiger". I think I said as much on a previous occasion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.1.195.4 (talk) 15:17, 8 November 2008 (UTC) PS The Golden Tabby Tiger article should also be merged into the white tiger article since golden tabby tigers are just heterozygotes. PS I also wonder whether its necessary to have a separate article for the white Amur tiger.[reply]

I Disagree!!!! Every kind of tiger should have is own page!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.80.238 (talk) 02:09, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't a different species of tiger, it's simply a genetic mutation. In my opinion this page should be merged with White Tiger, or even simply turned into a redirect, as the article on White Tigers is more detailed, and written better than this one.Drax89 (talk) 14:07, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. I came here for information on white tigers for science, and i can't concentrate past all the confusing gene talk of heterozygous stuff! My head is about to implode! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.72.195.108 (talk) 07:11, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
