On language skills and singing...[edit]

There reads: Joensen is also known for his language skills. He speaks Faroese, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, English, and German.
Swedish should also be added, since he sings Nordman's Vandraren cover in Ensiferum's album From Afar. 88.114.246.209 (talk) 20:55, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non sequitur (I think...): Mireille Mathieu sings/has sung songs written in any of something like seven languages; she does NOT speak all of those languages.
Note that I am not discussing how many languages Heri actually speaks, because I have no information on that. All I'm saying is that any singer worthy of the title can study and memorize how to sing songs in a language they understand nothing of. Hence, the question of language skills needs references to use in speaking or writing the given languages, not singing some song text... (In this particular case, though, we also get a whiff of the Nordic language situation, which of course adds to the problem of definitions...)
