Engagement[edit]

Someone changed "rumoured to be engaged" to "is engaged". Does anyone have proof of this? Also, if they're really engaged, he's her fiance, not her partner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.131.64.134 (talk) 19:15, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proof was already in place. Changed sentance to reflect this Meighan 18:10, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, i added that first comment about the status of this as a rumour and i added that source. However, i think the source better supports the rumour rather than establishes the fact. It's from a tabloid newspaper, and nothing has been said by either mcCrory or Lewis about thier relationship. I think it's still a rumour. Amo 20:40, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Date links[edit]

I've put the links back because of the context: they were links to the "year in film" articles. See MOS:LINK#Chronological items: .."1982 in film"...may add significantly to readers' understanding of the current topic. Build the web!--Old Moonraker (talk) 07:52, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Photo[edit]

We need a photo for this article! What about this one? http://www.flickr.com/photos/joathina/5930875637/ 76.1.139.197 (talk) 12:02, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice find, but it's released on a "non-commercial" licence, which is incompatible with Wikipedia. Many "entrepreneurs" collect Wikipedia material for resale. --Old Moonraker (talk) 12:12, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

an "English actress"?[edit]

If her mother is Welsh and her father is Scottish, how can SHE be English? I'd suggest changing that to "British actress". Ken Burch 09:15, 29 September 2011

I would tend to agree with you. There seems to be a certain contingent that goes around here changing biographical article entries from 'British' to 'English' and that's probably what's happened here. I'll change it to British and add the page to my watchlist. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 11:09, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

In this article, as is often the case with recent death articles, the date of death has been added without a source verifying it – rather, the date is of the announcement of death and not necessarily the date it occurred; the source given doesn't mention (or clarify) the date of death. Does someone have a WP:RS for this? MIDI (talk) 17:14, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Forgive me if I'm missing it, but where does the Irish News reference state the date? All I can see is the date of the statement, and the statement doesn't give any information. MIDI (talk) 17:55, 16 April 2021 (UTC) Struck as another editor seems to have removed this. MIDI (talk) 17:56, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is no point in removing the info, it just keeps coming back... People just don’t want to understand what the administrators are saying. Maybe it’s time to protect the page? 217.213.99.186 (talk) 18:33, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
