Reverting to last good version[edit]

In this edit, I reverted to a December version. I'm so sorry, there was a ton of socking that added plenty of copyvio text. If you want to work together to pick through the good edits that did not have anything to do with the offending text, I will help. I'm very sorry. Please yell at me if you object to this big revert. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:06, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yikes. I was assuming it was mostly translated from the Chinese version of the page, but my Chinese isn't good enough to tell. Can you give some more info on where the copyvio was sourced from? I didn't see any results from the Earwig tool. Thanks — ʀoyoтϵ 07:11, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Royote.
The first fragment I spot-checked from the very last sock edit of 12:53, 21 January 2018‎ shows the following:
I'm not sure why earwig's didn't show much. Please feel free to check that diff and others. I assure you, many, many diffs will be polluted with copy pasting and very close paraphrasing. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:56, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
From that same diff:
Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:15, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And from the diff right before that:
Anna Frodesiak (talk) 20:19, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I see, thanks. Looks like those sections will need a rewrite. — ʀoyoтϵ 02:08, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are Urban and Metropolitan reversed?[edit]

For Hefei the urban area is greater than the metro area and the population density is lower.

Yet, Wikipedia is quite clear that the urban area is the core of a city, and the metro area includes the urban area plus surrounding satellite areas and cities. Consequently the metro surface area must be greater, and the population density would almost always be lower.

Are these numbers reversed?

• Urban	5,670,000
• Urban density	6,800/km2 (18,000/sq mi)
• Metro	3,718,000
• Metro density	8,500/km2 (22,000/sq mi) — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavidRCrowe (talkcontribs) 16:37, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
They are probably from different sources. --Voidvector (talk) 23:44, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
