I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Scandal[edit]

Given the amount of attention this otherwise minor union has received in the past three years, it seems to me that we really should look at providing a more complete timeline of the scandal, identifying the major players and so on. The internal affairs of the HSU appear to be rather complex and changeable over the years and people are going to be coming here for information about what's going on. I'm actually surprised that we haven't covered this previously. I think (as I indicated at Talk:Craig Thomson (politician) that we should have an appropriately titled article, and I'm open to suggestions. Given any individual is innocent until proven guilty, publishing unsubstantiated allegations, such as those I've seen against Craig Thomson (politician), may render the author libel. It is unsurprising that a timeline of the allegations has not been published, as the relevant pages in Wikipedia seem to be heavily bias to support those making the 'unsubstantiated' allegations. There are currently allegations raised against Kathy Jackson (Kathy Koukouvaos), concerning her partner being a prominent individual with Fair Work Australia, yet none of this is evident from the Wikipedia entries. There's no mention of her outlandish salary, and unbelievable denials of known circumstances concerning other HSU officials. Wikipedia is being abused, the standard has dropped remarkably in a few years, with so many bias entries remaining online.Gymboot (talk) 16:55, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
