This article was the subject of an educational assignment in Spring 2015. Further details were available on the "Education Program:Montclair State University/Young Adult Literature (Spring 2015)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.

Wrong Plane[edit]

It appears that the book incorrectly identifies the model of the airplane. It's apparently actually a Cessna 206 that is described. Very confusing! The "Reims-Cessna F406 Caravan II" is a much-larger twin-engine turbo-prop, whereas the plane that fits the descriptions seems to be the "Cessna 206". Cover[edit]

Series[edit]

The page claims this book is one of a series of four. Only included on the page (besides The Hatchet) is one other novel in the series. Would a list of all the novels in this series be helpful to have on the page? I think it would be because a reader is left hanging without it. Le me know your thoughts.
