A fact from Hardstone carving appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 28 September 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

It has been there since the article was written a few years ago, and is partly a joke, but also making a serious point. You were the last to revert, so you can explain yourself!
