Success career in her field. A prominent anti-junta activist that supported by plenty of significant coverage
in both Burmese and Korean, so WP:BASIC and WP:GNG is met. She also passes WP:ENT#2 as "Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following." per The Irrawaddy source. Thanks Taung Tan (talk) 21:29, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have been doing a little copyediting, cleaning up the English a bit etc., hope that's ok. A few questions:
in other places on the internet (including Hannayuri's facebook page) I see her name spelled as TWO words: Hanna Yuri. Do you think her name in the WP article should also be spelled that way or leave it as Hannayuri?
I wanted to include the year in which Hannayuri (or Hanna Yuri) was named Influencer of the Month by GIN. This page GIN lists somebody else as Influencer of the Month for June 2021. Can you confirm? Redwidgeon (talk) 22:21, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Redwidgeon, Thanks for your ce. For name yes! Hannayuri is more acceptable. She spelled her artist name with "Hannayuri* not broken pronounced as Hanna Yuri. The GIN announcement is very unclear after you pointed me out. I added this fact per this source. However I think she may be in nomination lists of June? Btw, if you don't mind, pls ce on May Oo. As I'm one of a few Burmese editors, I have paln to create many more Burmese related articles but my grammar is limited. Thank you so much Taung Tan (talk) 02:39, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Taung Tan, I am happy to help with the copyediting for the entry on May Oo (or any other entries you want to write). I must go travelling for a few days but will work on it when I return. Redwidgeon (talk) 05:37, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I did a little more CE work, mostly just adding 'polish' to the English in a few places. I also followed the link about Hannayuri's nomination for Influencer of the Month; the date on the reference is 2021 so I added in that year (last item in the article).
I also removed the 'copyedit needed' template since I think the main CE work is done. (Now I will look at the article for May Oo!) Redwidgeon (talk) 21:31, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
