Hsi Lai Temple is only the second largest temple in the Western Hemisphere - with 15 acres of built-up property as opposed to the 88 acres of Ukiah's City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. Kungming2 23:59, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is the reference to Leo Lee vandalism? 216.9.250.106 (talk) 02:37, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Richard Gere?[edit]

Why is Richard Gere listed in the Notable People section? His article doesn't mention Hacienda Heights at all, and this article doesn't mention him, other than in that list. Thoughts? -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 19:33, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah that was my question when I first noticed it today. After a really brief search on Google, it seems that Gere owns (owned?) a vacation house here in the Heights, so I guess that qualifies him to be placed on the Notable People section? Anyone who knows more about this would be appreciated. --AsianHippie (talk) 01:36, 18 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I just looked at the article on Hacienda Heights, CA and found it to be very accurate about its history and landmarks. I attend an adult school in this community and did not know that so many celebrities grew up here. A shout out to the people who did their homework in composing a good article. 198.188.162.224 16:01, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Richard Rodriguez, La Puente, CA, USA[reply]
