they are not members of the merkaz. the merkaz helped to build them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.41.3.21 (talk) 08:34, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The articles on Hebrew wikipedia (e.g. Eshhar, Gita, Givat Ela) state that they are current members. Are you saying these are all wrong? @Ynhockey: Do you have an opinion on this? Cheers, Number 57 19:58, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Anon could be right. As far as I can tell, no village is really a "member", it was just a sort of Histadrut department dealing with agricultural settlement, or something. Now it's like a separate workers' union. The "official" website is really not that clear. —Ynhockey (Talk) 17:35, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, let's remove them for now. Number 57 20:00, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
it took time but you got it. here is the bad point in the wiki community - one that know bette,r change something and nobody wanted to listen. a solution must be found for this problem. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.41.3.21 (talk) 12:08, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
We do have a system – it's called the bold, revert, discuss cycle. If you had explained why you were removing the information from the page when you started (July), this wouldn't have happened. Number 57 16:08, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I am speaking about a judge that can hear the two sides and give his opinion. thanks for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.41.3.21 (talk) 08:11, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Number 57. I don't understand why you gave in to the anonymous and uncivil colleague in such a radical manner.
  1. If he is right, I'd put the list back in under "communities helped by MHK", or whatever corresponds to what the source is saying. It's very valuable info in an almost meaningless article stub!
  2. Add the source(s). Anyone can remove unsourced material!
Thirdly, please go to the next section :) This list is just a tiny issue in what has so far been a largely useless attempt at an article. Cheers, Arminden (talk) 10:34, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oshrat, Nirit, Givat Ela, Tal El, Gita, Israel, Karkom, Shaharut, Hinanit, Masad, Israel, Timrat, Eshhar, Har Halutz: the infoboxes show "Affiliation: MHK". They all seem to have been founded in the 80s. Arminden (talk) 11:05, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Useless mess[edit]

What did they do before'48?

What are they doing now?

What is the Agricultural Workers Union? (If a "centre" can be a movement, a "union" can be anything.) Arminden (talk) 17:13, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't know about MHK, and after reading this "article" I still don't know almost anything about them. What did and do they actually do? I left as uninformed as I arrived here. Arminden (talk) 10:35, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So why not fix it? The Hebrew article is more detailed, though not terribly well sourced. Number 57 10:45, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks, but no. I'm spending far, far, FAR too much time on Wiki, and this here isn't a topic I'm focused on.

The enWiki search for MHk brings up a number of activists who were members in the 1940s, one staying on until 1960.

In the 1925 Assembly of Representatives election, MHK participated as a list it seems.

See section above: lots of communities est. by American Jews in the 80s listed as "affiliated" to the MHK. I didn't check, but at least some seem to be in the Negev desert - maybe the Galilee & Negev push before the intifadas?

Bits & pieces, not yet creating a picture, but something. But that's my own quick research, not in any way reflected in the article. I will stop now, but maybe those who've contributed already wish to continue constructively. Arminden (talk) 11:05, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
