Removal of maintainence tags[edit]

I have found that one of the editors to this article has removed notability, fact, cleanup tags which has been added by other editors, without any edit summary or without substantially changing the article to meet the queries or objections raised by the other editors. I would request editors who would like to remove notability, fact, cleanup tags to substantially address the questions raised by such tags before removing them, the best course would be to leave a couple of lines in the talk page so that later editors may appreciate the reasons behind such moves. Personally I believe that there are many sources (whether they are POV or not is different issue) an on a prima facie basis the article seems to be notable, but the questions raised on facts seem to be genuine. So i would request editors who take interest in this article to address the issues raised by tags rather than just summarily deleting them, such an approach would undermine the collective nature of wiki. Hence i would request editors who delete tags to either restore them or substantially add to the article such that the tag queries are resolved. LegalEagle (talk) 13:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
