Ιάσπερος[edit]

I googled Ιάσπερος and zero (0) hits came up. This means the name needs citations. Please provide them or stop adding the name to the list. Thanks. Dr.K. (talk) 21:41, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And I just searched for it in Musaios TLG, JSTOR, Project Muse, Oxford Reference, Liddel Scott and four different greek dictionaries to no avail. If there is a reference do cite it. At any rate, even if such a bogus name has been used it can hardly be considered a representative example in this list--Giorgos Tzimas (talk) 11:46, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pedaeus & Crino[edit]

These two names seem to be very rare. Πηδαῖος (Antenor's son along with Iphidamas) seems to need citations. He seems to appear only in the Iliad, but I can't find the exact verse. The same difficulties apply to Κρινώ. The only reference to that name, I was able to find, is this sample of a text by Apollodorus: "οὗτοι ἐξ Ἡφαιστίνης, αἱ δὲ ἐκ Κρινοῦς". Btw, many of the ancient Greek forms of the names are blatantly incorrect and all of them are lacking diacritics. Their correct forms can be found at the respective articles of each name (for everyone wanting to undertake the inspection of the article). Omnipedian (talk) 19:47, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation warning?[edit]

I am removing the "this page links to lots of disambiguation pages" warning from the top of the page. This page should qualify as a list of names (in my opinion; please leave a comment if you disagree) under WP:INTDABLINK, so the links to disambiguation pages are appropriate and should not be changed to refer to specific individuals.
