This definition for the Great Turning is much more oriented around David Korten than other interpretations of the Great Turning. I'd like to see an expanded and more broad reaching definition. Can we begin to create some dialouge around varying definitions? I'd also like to see some of the concepts from Paul Hawken's Blessed Unrest and the related webiste [wiserearth.org] and some more of Joanna Macy's take on the Great Turning. --tathra (talk) 06:23, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

David Korten himself acknowledges the derivation of the term from Joanna Macy. More recently it has been championed by Rob Hopkins and the Transition Movement. The article needs to reflect these aspect of the work. I recommend that the article not be merged with the work of David Korten and that it be expanded to reflect these usages. John D.
