balance of achievements[edit]

State achievement: Developed E-Gov program for the state with a new IT governance structure and, in the process, redefined the delivery of IT services to state entities into a working "federated" model that encompasses agency-unique, shared, and utility IT service delivery; within the governance process, refined an enterprise strategic planning process and project portfolio program for the state; established an advisory board from agency and private sector leadership; delivered to the legislature the state’s first-ever Master Plan for Information Technology.[5]

These activities required hiring many staff positions who do not directly deliver IT services. This did not improve the service delivery. Previously OET provided shared and utility services, this is not a new delivery model.

dubious section[edit]

"His broad-based background[dubious – discuss] in corporate America and as an entrepreneur includes positions" Needs clarification on how 2 corporate positions, at the level they are stated. constitute a broad based background. Also needs definition of the consulting company as to clients and relevance.Rpathore (talk) 03:39, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
