I don't know why Google has bothered. I downloaded the installer and then it installed and then... nothing. There seem to be no instructions in English, and the translations I have made from the Chinese instructions are unhelpful; the instructions seem mainly to laud the praises of the software .....

Later, I figured it out online; you must have support for East Asian Languages installed; I did not. There were no warning messages from the installer. As I am not willing to install EAL I will just use the NJstar IME...
