What is 'Plex' exactly?[edit]

I've read this article over and over again and only noticed that 'Plex' was mentioned only once at the end of the first paragraph of the History heading, and that it was cancelled. So what is it exactly? Klrfl Talk! 13:24, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Gpay[edit]

@InfiniteNexus I have no connection with Gpay or Google and have never used any of their payment systems. The reason I tried to clarify this was because a friend of mine here in Turkey wanted to buy something from the UK on ebay (as you may know there is no Paypal here) and asked me whether Gpay was a suitable method of paying as he had noticed that some UK ebay listings had Gpay as a method of payment. He asked me if we could add Gpay to his Android phone. After some time looking into this I have advised him to forget about Gpay because he only has Turkish bank accounts not a UK one. As he is not very knowledgable about either computers or payments I thought if we continued we would just get in a confusing tangle.

So I thought I would note the naming here to avoid other people here in Turkey wasting time with similar confusion. But as I have no further interest in Gpay myself I will leave this article as it is now. No skin off my nose if anyone else here messes up their Gpay in future. Not a reliable source but I see there are hundreds of complaints about Gpay at https://www.sikayetvar.com/gpay# Chidgk1 (talk) 07:31, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

When I ask Google in Turkish what is the difference between Google Pay and Gpay (google pay ve gpay nasil farkli) it features a snippet from the above complaints website which says they are the same. But I suspect the hundreds of complaints are about the Turkish Gpay not the Google one. Chidgk1 (talk) 07:44, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If the Turkish app is not notable, there is nothing we can do on Wikipedia about the alleged confusion. And in any case, I am unsure how deleting this redirect would solve any confusion. InfiniteNexus (talk) 03:41, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
