Untitled[edit]

The "Walton Lane development" is outdated and wrong. Must be updated — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.224.153.235 (talk) 20:30, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rent[edit]

I found three sources discussing Houlding and him trying to charge higher rent at Anfield. This isn't clear in the article. Should this be added some how?[1][2][3] I was actually looking for a source to replace the Toffeeweb one for "Everton moved to nearby Anfield, where proper covered stands were built. Everton played at Anfield from 1884 until 1892". This might be sufficient. Cptnono (talk) 23:39, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've made some changes, the clubs don't agree on the reasons. TheBigJagielka (talk) 15:10, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the best I have come across: It gives these refs:

1966 World Cup[edit]

I was embroiled in discussing a mistake on the 1966 article that said GP capacity was 55,000. It was wrong although the official capacity in 1966 i could not give. That aside the image of GP is today's stadium, can anyone upload a 60's image of Goodison? The only image i can think of is the one on front the the 1960's programmes. Legal and Corporate status[edit]

For some reason the term 'Limited Liability Company' and 'LLC' crept in to the article - this is an American form of incorporation. What was created by UK Companies Act at that time was a 'Limited Company' a 'Co Ltd' or more usually just 'a Compnay'; although the point of being limited is to provide limite liability to a shareholder - ie 'limited' to the share they hold it is wrong to use the title as in the US, the LLC designation links to US law page. Suthringa (talk) 07:03, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've changed all references to an LLC to limited company. - Chrism would like to hear from you 17:48, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

There is a delightful shot of presumed 1920s Goodison Park which possibly could be added to the article under "fair use", as it demonstrates the location extremely well. https://twitter.com/robertmdaws/status/1404472197771636740 - Cheers, Oalexander (talk) 04:19, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
