Revisions after de-PROD[edit]

Necrothesp, I've made revisions since your de-PROD a few days ago. I assume the article (as created by Whereisringo in 2008) included information by someone close to Bainbridge with access to his C.V., possibly a COI, since that editor made only Bainbridge-related edits. I assumed good faith, but found only limited support for the section on his career, so I tagged it for additional citations.

I did find references related to Bainbridge's research and his academic degrees. I also accepted on good faith that he was a Wolfson Professor, and C.Eng., F.I.E.E., and F.Inst.P. I did not include the notations for D.P.A. or J.P., because I was unable to decipher either of those acronyms, finding it unlikely he would have a second doctoral degree (Doctor of Public Administration?) and because I was unable to find what a "J.P." might be. Part of the problem may be that those records are ~50 years old by now. Additionally, UK academic degrees/honors from that era are not likely to be accessible online, and I'm on the wrong side of the pond to be able to ferret them out. JP is Justice of the Peace. Don't know about DPA. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:05, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
DPA may also be Diploma in Public Administration, so rather lower than another doctorate (in fact, lower than any degree). Don't know why he'd have that though. -- Necrothesp (talk) 08:37, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Necrothesp, I think the DPA notation is a dead end, unless there is an obituary that mentions his post-nominal letters. I've checked Newspapers.com, which indexes the Observer and the Guardian, but apparently nothing in Wales. Do you have access to local newspaper archives?
