Originally designed as "headless"[edit]
The oddball shape of the Corvus was due to the fact that it was originally designed as a "headless" guitar and the machine heads/tuners were to be mounted on the body in the cut-out. Initial negative feedback from Gibson's dealers resulted in a hasty redesign to include a headstock.

"Notable Corvus players" section irrelevant[edit]
The section consists solely of a link to List of Gibson players in which the word "Corvus" does not appear even once. That makes the link and the section irrelevant. Both should be removed, or the link should be replaced with an expansion template. 12.233.146.130 (talk) 23:48, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
