"The Making of the Georgian Nation" as go-to source.[edit]

"The Making of the Georgian Nation" was written by Ronald Grigor Suny, an Armenian who seems very opinionated and partialy biased in matters of Georgian-Armenian historical and cultural relations as well as Russo-Armenian historical and poltical relations, which in itself wouldn't be a problem. But this particular book, which is supposed to be about Georgia in the first place, is paved with the supposed role, weight and social status of Armenians and their inpact on Georgian history and society which does, wheter it was intentional or not, comes off as promoting of one culture, over another, rather than providing an actual objective and fact based history of a nation, that the title and author suggest. Therefore I think it isn't apropriate to use it as go-to or primary means of source for entire sections of a country's history. Preferably use more than one source for each section. Idealy much more than 1 .... Another problem I noticed is the lack of references. TheMightyGeneral (talk) 14:39, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
