I took a bunch of photos of the area, but am not sure which site is which. All are available at WikiCommons. Use as you will. --Ebyabe (talk) 15:48, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

distinction from "Historic Railroad Shops"?[edit]

Can someone please explain how "Central of Georgia Railroad: Savannah Shops and Terminal Facilities" differs from Historic Railroad Shops? Thanks. 69.119.27.73 (talk) 03:00, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree with this anonymous IP. I see at least three sites mixed into this article, where two of the infoboxes could be moved. -------User:DanTD (talk) 15:30, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
These three are about basically the same (I think):

The Railroad Museum is on the other side of the street as the Terminal. They seem to be different entities today - there is a tourist info center in the terminal. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 02:08, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Central of Georgia Depot and Trainshed should be split off and the Savannah History Museum should be merged into it. The Georgia State Railroad Museum, as well as the redirected Historic Railroad Shops should be redirected here. As far as the Central of Georgia Railway Company Shop Property goes, I know it's part of the art museum next door, but I'm really not sure how we'd write a separate article on that. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:21, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Central of Georgia Railway Company Shop Property[edit]

I've taken photos of the area and uploaded them to WikiCommons. However, I can't positively identify which part is the "Shop Property". If anyone else can figure that out, please add the appropriate photo. --Ebyabe (talk) 22:42, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The "Shop property" is currently a wing of the Savannah College of Art and Design Museum of Art. I'm currently working on a split of all three articles, and the merging of two other articles into the merged ones. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 17:14, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Landmark status[edit]

I've removed the note claiming that the park service "erroneously" listed this as an NHL. As this UNESCO World Heritage Nomination (google cache since it appears to be no longer at the NPS site at that address) this is an NHLD that is an expansion of Central of Georgia Depot and Trainshed. The nomination for this property also has an NHL-style statement of national significance, and notes that it explicitly includes the elements previously listed.
