Date of birth possibly wrong - in an interview with Mike Douglas, he stated that he was born Sept. 26, 1895.[edit]

In an interview on "The Mike Douglas Show", Jessel stated that he was born Sept. 26, 1895. Significance of this is uncertain. See video at 6:30 time mark. Entertainment Buff 13:24, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. It was George Raft who made this statement, not George Jessel. Both men were guests on the same episode of "The Mike Douglas Show". That was the reason for the confusion. Sorry about that. Entertainment Buff 15:12, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have noticed on the talk page for George Raft that there is a huge debate over his birth year - 1895 or 1901. This episode of "The Mike Douglas Show" seems to be the source of that debate. Entertainment Buff 15:21, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
