Deletion request[edit]

Please delete page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Liportugueseculture (talkcontribs) 18:02, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Deleting an article is often not as easy as creating one. This has in the past been nominated for speedy deletion, and it was found to have made a claim to notability, and then was nominated per WP:AfD, which closed inconclusively. You may renominate it through the AfD process, though it's unusual for an article's creator to do so. The notability of the subject does merit further attention. The second issue regards the WP:COI accounts I've noted at the top of this page. That needs attention, too. I've come across additions of content involving claims that are not supported by published sources. For instance, assertions--which may be true--that Mr. Marques co-authored initiatives may be the sort of information privy to the subject and those who work with him. Likewise inadequately sourced claims at the related Jack Martins article re: his political ambitions. My concern is that, in effect, WP:COI accounts are 'leaking' relatively private information here in order to inflate the subject's significance. That does beg further study, and I may raise this concern at a noticeboard. 2601:188:1:AEA0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 19:42, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
