Plagiarized[edit]

This is plagiarized from another site, right down to the (for Wikipedia, incomprehensible) sub-headings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shemp Howard, Jr. (talkcontribs) 23:21, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could be, but what was the other site? Can we have a link? And are you sure it wasn't the other way around, that the other site is a mirror of Wikipedia? GeorgeLouis (talk) 15:51, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Major League Baseball Announcer[edit]

One of the categories for Gabriel Heatter is "Major League Baseball Announcers" - but, nowhere in the article does it ever mention his broadcasting any sports. Did he announce major league baseball games, and, if so, for what team(s) or did he broadcast something like a 'game of the week'?Jtyroler (talk) 11:31, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Popular Culture Reference:[edit]

Reference: Billy Wilder's film "A Foreign Affair" (1948) a line delivered by Jean Arthur's - playing a U.S. Congresswoman on a fact finding mission to Berlin immediately after the War. Her character is incensed with an issue which she wants addressed: (approximately 48 minutes into the film) Captain Pringle: "You'll go to the General?" Congresswoman Frost: "I will, and to the War Department, and to the President, and if that doesn't do it, I'll see Gabriel Heatter." — Preceding unsigned comment added by NodrogSnave (talkcontribs) 05:36, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
