sheet music copyright

It is, and it is acknowledged as such on the image page under the Licensing section. And it is used as "fair use", so it's fine for the English Wikipedia use in this article. -- Mareklug ^talk 04:37, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Lyrics in English

I see that the lyrics in English have been removed. Is this a proper copyvio? If wikipedia isn't going to get sued, I think we really need to have the lyrics in English. Linking to the myspace page is OK, but actually having the lyrics in the article is better if it's Public domain already. Surely myspace does not want to get sued. Totally agree, you might want to try and talk with User:Caspian blue about it, i tried and got nowhere but i was totally not in the mood to try and convince someone who i think may be baised, as he works on other anti-american sentiment in korea articles and is a south korean himself. Heroeswithmetaphors, you would better read WP:Copyvio carefully. If you eagerly want the lyrics to be shown in the article, you should contact the copyrighter. The material in the myspace is not under public domain as far as I've known.

Terrasidius, unlike your saying, you did fail to answer my questions regarding the copyright issue. Instead, you poured personal attacks against me. That is very childish behaviors. That is a big no-no for wikipedian. Remind of WP:Civility. If you want to solve your question, then take it to Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. Besides, I got a barnstar by some wikipedian[1][2] whom I don't know. Every article related to songs do not have their lyrics due to copyright problem. So show your rationale, why should you represent the the copyrighted lyrics? Besides, my nationality is none of your business and this article. Songwriter Yoon Min-suk.

It might be inappropriate/irrelevant to include some background information of songwriter Yoon Min-suk in the article, so I am adding my two cents here. According to Korean wikipedia article, Yoon violated National Security Act of South Korea four times. In addition to some controversial anti-American songs, Yoon wrote a couple of songs which praise North Korean leader Kim Il-sung (Kim Jong-il's father and founder of North Korea.)

Some of his songs include <Great Leader Kim Il-sung is the Sun of Humankind>(김일성 대원수는 인류의 태양), <Loyal song dedicated to Dear Leader>(수령님께 드리는 충성의 노래), and <Wish you visit Pyongyang>(평양에 가보세요). So I think he's not just against Bush administration's foreign policy, like he declares as it is mentioned at the beginning of article, but against U.S. and South Korean government (since his true heart belongs to North Korean paradise.)

This song had been used during 2002 anti-American protest in South Korea, but didn't represent public opinion of South Koreans toward American government and its people. (note that lyrics of "Fucking USA" point fingers at the United States for the division of Korean peninsular, not at the North Korea or China. These so-called unification activist don't blame South Korean government much for the division of Korea, because, according to them, South Korea is a puppet state of U.S.) PBJT (talk) 20:17, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
