This article was automatically assessed because at least one article was rated and this bot brought all the other ratings up to at least that level. BetacommandBot 11:36, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bad arithmetic[edit]

Could somebody please correct whichever combination of his age and when his father died needs it. If Nitti was born in 1881 and his father dies in 1888, Nitti couldn't have been "less than two years old." Dkril (talk) 12:57, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Information[edit]

Maybe I am over lookiing something, but a seperate article concerning Eddie O'Hare it states the following:

"Several months after O'Hare was gunned down, Frank Nitti, Capone's second in command, married Ursula Sue Granata, O'Hare's fiancée."

However, there is no mention of Ms. Granata in this article.

Death[edit]

This section says that the railroaded heard two shots, then seems to describe three shots. I find it hard to believe that North was able to pull off a third shot after the second shot as described, but I also find it hard to believe the workers only heard two of three shots. I think this sees to be cleared up. Wschart (talk) 21:58, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for mentioning this. After consulting the source given there at the end of the paragraph, it was in fact three bullets—one that missed and two that struck him. Fixed. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 22:10, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vagueness[edit]

Is "914 South Halsted Street" in Dallas, or Chicago? Article should say. Sullidav (talk) 14:14, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Zangara assassintion of Cernak[edit]

This part of the article is unrelated to Nitti. Either it should be deleted or something added along lines of the "Conspriacy Theory" section of the Giuseppe Zangara article. Sullidav (talk) 14:27, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Attributed sourced info from that article. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 20:43, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Location of death[edit]

The text places Nitti's death at a railroad crossing over Cermak Road, which is in North Riverside, Illinois. However, it places the death in Riverside, Illinois and quotes a "Police Chief Allen Rose of Riverside." Either the place of death is wrong, or Allen Rose must have been police chief of North Riverside, not Riverside. Further research is necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.41.131.154 (talk) 11:54, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for raising this. The source listed does in fact state it is North Riverside. This has been corrected. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 17:52, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
