How is Crocker notable?[edit]

Given that almost all the material in this article relates to the pub, and the dubious stories about it that seem to have been cooked up long after Crocker's death, can anyone explain how this 'biography' establishes Crocker's notability, independent of the pub? As it stands, the only source for Crocker that isn't about the pub is WikiTree - a Wiki (obviously) that we shouldn't be citing as a source anyway. Without evidence of independent notability, the article should probably be deleted. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:28, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
