Not a geneticist[edit]

I found myself sitting next to Prof Ashcroft at lunch a couple of weeks ago, and asked if her Wikipedia page is accurate. She said there are inaccuracies, most prominent among them is the description as a geneticist. She says she is not a geneticist, and looking at her online profiles, it seems that she is in a department with genetics in the title, but her job title/ does not include genetics. I will remove description of her as a geneticist from this article and from list articles mentioning her. I've asked in email for her to identify other inaccuracies and I'll make changes or suggestions here if I get a reply. MartinPoulter (talk) 19:17, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

MasterChef appearance and citation[edit]

In the "Personal life" section, it says Dr.Ashcroft appeared on BBC's MasterChef as a diner (offered food), and the sentence is marked with missing citation. I searched but could find that BBC filmed MasterChef at University of Oxford (quote) "for 150 students and 15 senior fellows of New College, Oxford." (end quote), but no personal names are given on BBC's official website; Episode 9, "MasterChef", Series 7. FYI, according to the site, the episode was aired on BBC One (Wed 30 Mar 2011 21:00), BBC HD (Fri 1 Apr 2011 19:30), and BBC Two (Sun 3 Apr 2011 11:30.) --Omotecho (talk) 16:49, 24 October 2017 (UTC) ][reply]
