Redirect, COI, SPAM, Notability, NPOV, COPYVIO, and RS issues[edit]

Blanked the content that was restored after the AfD discussion referenced above was closed as Redirect to Foxit Reader, and recreated the appropriate REDIRECT. The content was restored twice since the AfD. First time apparently by someone at Foxit, second time by 64.125.119.210, an anon user that has only edited the Foxit article. In addition to the contents being functionally deleted by the AfD, the article suffers from WP:COI, WP:N, WP:SPAM, WP:NPOV, and WP:RS issues. In short, it is a puff piece or an advertisement masquerading as an article, apparently pushed by the marketing team at Foxit. If this comes back to life yet again, it needs to be actually deleted, and maybe salted (if that's possible for a redirect). - Becksguy (talk) 08:18, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. However, you missed one: WP:COPYVIO (from LinkedIn etc.). I've added the IP to the connected contributors above. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:14, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. I didn't bother looking to see if the copyvio content had been fully removed in the last version, since the whole article shouldn't be there. Good catch. - Becksguy (talk) 12:23, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
