Notable foundlings[edit]

Did the hospital house any later-notable foundlings other than John Church (clergyman)? Salopian (talk) 23:27, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oliver Twist[edit]

The bit about Oliver Twist seems to make some very tenuous links between the novel and the Foundling Hospital. Isn't there a character in another Dickens novel who comes from the Foundling Hospital? If no sources are forthcoming I will change it. Southdevonian (talk) 13:20, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bevington[edit]

Bevington could not have built the chapel organ associated with G. F. Handel's contribution in 1750. Bevington was not born until 1777. --2600:1008:B163:5AE7:38BF:97D6:7D57:7B9A (talk) 13:43, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. I have deleted the mention of Bevington. Dormskirk (talk) 11:02, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
