Offering a picture from the time period

I found this picture in a family photo album. The car belonged to Frank Meyer (1875-1943), picture taken by his son Vernon (1913-1981). I am Vernon's grandson and found the picture in an album - Vernon left typed cations in his albums and said this was his father's 1929 Model A Ford, and was the family car from 1929 to 1935. I thought it would be good for the page in showing the car in the age it was popular, with the normal wear and tear of the age period, and it is a side shot, which there aren't may of on the page. If the folks who work on this page like it, they are free to use it. --Pittsburghmuggle (talk) 23:37, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

This was removed once with the explanation that there are are "better and color pics". I put it back, explaining that Wikipedia is not a car show. This picture shows the car from a decent angle, in the time period it was popular. I'd like to point out that this isn't a car show site, it's an encyclopedia. The picture's value is in the fact that this is what the car looked like in use in the 1930's when it was used as a family car, not as a museum piece. Not a lot of color, high resolution pictures pictures came out of the 1930's time period, so to say that the picture isn't in color is irrelevant.--Pittsburghmuggle (talk) 21:19, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
