“In 2021, the company folded.”[edit]

Is this supposed to be a joke or did the company actually end up folded? 2601:196:4800:660:FC5A:78DD:F8DE:27E9 (talk) 23:08, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

According to Wikitionary definition 10, "folded" is defined as "Of a company, to cease to trade"
According to Real Business Rescue, "Folding a business" is described as "an informal phrase that means a business will permanently close down". So yes, it did fold.Frigyes06 (talk) 22:21, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is no place for puns. Jngechu (talk) 02:17, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why not? Because you don't like it? There's clearly a great deal of people who do. I suggest you bring something more to the table than your mere personal preference. 2A01:E0A:DC0:1D7:8DF2:C7D2:188C:ADF0 (talk) 03:12, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because this is an encyclopedia. It's meant to be informative, not necessarily funny and absolutely not funny at the expense of clarity. Go back to iFunny. Jngechu (talk) 21:02, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
